Veteran electronic musicians Symbion Project & tawnylawns (FKA Elissa of Kodacrome) have released a new EP which exudes a dark, visceral beauty like an insect trapped in amber. The accompanying creature-like music video oscillates between scenes of dancers in conjoined motion, and glistening black fluid articulating to the rhythms of the music.

The 3-song collection titled Blue In The Mouth, is equally raw as it is sonically refined, with a constant push and pull between delicate breakdowns and frenetic climaxes. Each of the three tracks is an thoughtfully crafted journey, loaded with distorted strings, analog synths, evocative lyrics, and a dense layer cake of vocal processing.
