Perfect videogame music, love the mixture of synths, beats and chiptune. Semiotic is great from start to finish, but Signifier and Concept are standout faves of mine

Dark energy given form. Spirit is the standout track for me, reminiscent of Jerry Berlongieri's classic Alter Echo. Always looking out for what this creative dynamo will do next.

A glorious new album exploring a fresh new direction with its dark, edgy, at times very hard-driven sound. Massive sound that offers a very visceral experience to the listener. There are no low points on this album.

Included in download is a sample-pack for the Vermona DRM-1 analog drum machine. The album download includes a PDF with the link to get this sample library containing over 450 high-def samples of this unique drum machine.
SEMIOTIC (2016) is the 6th Symbion Project album and is an audio/visual collaboration with Kevin McGinnis. Featuring a seamless meld of dark, twisted beats and synths with minimal, yet chaotic motion graphics and images, the result is a hypnotic discussion between visuals and instrumental music. Kevin and Kasson first collaborated creatively on videogames while working at Harmonix (RockBand, Dance Central) and reconnected in their hometown of Seattle, WA where they wanted to create a music/graphic art project that is as much visual as audible.
Standout songs are the dark videogame inspired “Root” featuring heavy disjointed beats and edgy 8bit synths, while “Impulse” transforms a resonating halftime groove into a driving techno beat. “Concept” changes pace with a stuttery sample-driven song that is playable in the music videogame reboot Amplitude HD (ps3/ps4). "The Idea" is also featured as a playable track in the music game Chime# (Steam, PS4, Nintendo Switch).

WOW this album grew on me fast. My favorite track changes frequently. Step into the Sunshine is brilliantly sinister, Memory disappears beautiful and melancholy. Right now Rare Bird is an amazing unicorn chaser.

Can't seem to leave a comment for the full album yet, so I'll say here that Fantasizer now becomes one of my 3 favorites of the year, along with the new albums by The Vapors and Pet Shop Boys. I've been lucky enough to see you live a couple times. I hope it'll be safe soon for you to tour again.
